答案 China Shouldn’t Encourage Privately-Owned Cars With the development of modern society, more and more Chinese families can afford to buy cars. We can’t deny the conveniences brought by ears, but with all things considered, I think China shouldn’t encourage privately-owned automobiles. To begin with, cars may take up much time and space. China has a large population and the average space for each person is limited. If everyone has his or her own car, the traffic problem will be more serious and people will have to wait for more time on their way to work or home. With the space crammed with cars, people will have less space for walking or jogging. What’s more, it is well-known that cars cause pollution which do great harm to people’s health and even threatens our living environment. If each person has a private car, the fumes emitted by the cars will make the whole world an inhospitable place to live in. Therefore, the government shouldn’t encourage privately-owned cars. Otherwise, there would be a more crowded society and more hostile environment awaiting us in the future.
