The German authorities are sending investigors to discover the cause of the plane crash late yesterday on the Island of Tenariff. the plane, a Boeing 727 taking German holiday makers to the island crashed into a hill side as it circled while preparing to land. The plane was carrying 180 passengers. It is thought there are no survivors. Rescue workers are at the scene.
     The 500 U.K. motor workers who had been on strike in High Town for the past 3 weeks went back to work this morning. This follows successsful talks between management and union representatives, which resulted in a new agreement on fewer working hours.
