Good morning. This is Betty Bellarussa reporting live from a helicopter with the latest in local traffic news. Well, if you’re on the roads listening to this, you already know that traffic is pretty much a mess everywhere. On Interstate 7, traffic is crawling all the way from downtown to the county line. Highway 17 is slow throughout the city and then clears up at Overpass Road. If that weren’t bad enough, an accident is blocking Main Street downtown and has caused a 15-minute backup for cars waiting to get onto the freeway.
