For this part, you are allowed 30 minutes to write a short essay on the topic Children’s Education. You should write at least 120 words but no more than 180 words following the outline given below:
1.目前,子女的家庭教育受到广泛的重视。
2.这一现象产生的原因。
3.你的看法。
选项
答案
Children’ s Education (1) It is a well-known fact that Chinese families have traditionally regarded the education of their children as their primary duty. It seems to me that there are two reasons for this. (2) First, because of the birth control policy, a couple with one child becomes the dominant family structure, and parents place all their hopes on and sacrifice everything for their only child. Second, as the world becomes competitive, parents realize that only a sound education can guarantee their children a decent standard of living in the future. But still, many parents just blindly follow others to invest in their children’ s education because they don’t have a clear idea themselves. (3) While recognizing the importance of a good education, people should not lose sight of the goal of learning. Not all useful skills are acquired from academic study. Parents should carefully consider their children’ s aptitudes before recklessly spending money on an expensive education.
解析
(1)目前孩子的教育越来越受到重视。
(2)分析为什么孩子教育受到如此的重视。
(3)提出自己关于认识到家庭教育的重要性的看法。
