答案 On Family Model According to the graph, dads spend more time doing paid work (40. 5 hours per week) than moms (22. 8 hours per week) while moms spend more time doing unpaid household work ( 17. 4 hours per week) and childcare tasks ( 13. 5 hours per week). However, with an increasing percentage of women becoming wage earners, the division of labour between spouses is not as clear as it used to be. Decades ago, the husband played an instrumental role towards achieving success at work so that he could support his family financially while his wife acted solely as the homemaker, a full-time housewife. However, with the development of the society, this family model has been transformed over the following decades. Nowadays, women have come to play an active role in the labour force and men are more involved in the home. Meanwhile, all family members become more equal and democratic, sharing tasks such as housework and childcare and spending their leisure time together. However, changes in the family are limited and therefore the family is not presently symmetrical even if there are signs of equality such as the woman having a full-time job and a good wage.
