答案 After four years’ undergraduate study, I find that my strength lies in academic learning and my personality is suitable for doing research. I like working quietly and I don’t mind having to work alone, but I also enjoy communing with books and discussing with scholars, not only in the field that I am working in, but also any other disciplines that can expand my knowledge and understanding. I feel contented when I gains insights through reading, discussing and thinking. I have developed a great interest in translation studies, but the undergraduate courses can hardly satisfy my aspiration for a more profound understanding of the subject, which urges me to further my study. I believe I can get a general picture of the current theories and researches on translation before I find a specific topic that interests me, so I can deepen my own study. I hope the ideas I acquire through my graduate study will be applied in my future career, either in the translation practice or in further studies in the field.
