Examinations
In the【C1】______(Europe) universities of the Middle Ages, students who were working for【C2】______(advance) degrees had to discuss questions in their field of【C3】______(researcher) of the subject. This custom exists today as part of the work of testing candidates (候选人) for a master’ s or doctor’ s degree.
【C4】______(general) , however, modern examinations are written. Two types of tests are【C5】______(common) used in modern schools. The first type sometimes called an objective (客观性) test, it is intended to deal with facts, not【C6】______(person) opinions. To make up an objective test the teacher writes a series of questions, each of which has only one correct answer. Along with each question the teacher writes the correct answer and also three【C7】______(state) that look like answers to students who have not learned the material【C8】______(proper).
For testing a student’ s memory of facts and details, the objective test has advantages. It can find out a great deal about the student’ s range of knowledge.
For testing some kinds of learning, however, such a test is not very【C9】______(satisfy) . A【C10】______(luck) student may guess the correct answer without really knowing the material.
【C9】
选项
答案
satisfactory
解析
此处需填一个形容词。如果只是测试一下学生对知识的掌握情况,那么客观题有它的优点;可是也并不是完全令人满意的。空格前面有一个副词very,后面通常会跟一个被修饰的形容词。
