We may even say that a person lacking humor is like a spring without flowers. Humor comes from our needs to be cultivated with wisdom. We need to have the intelligence to create laughter from our own frailties in order to laugh away our tears, troubles and miseries. If we still remember the saying that life makes a wise man smile and a foolish man cry, we can change our heartbroken bitterness into laughter. Humor helps us to live in harmony with ourselves and other people. With natural laughter, misunderstanding disappears and tension is released easily. If you quarrel over a trifle with your friend and he gets so angry that he says, "I’ ll never talk to you again." To save your friendship, you might say, "If you don’ t want to talk please listen to me and let me do the talking, won’ t you?" With a sense of humor, unnecessary future regret is avoided. So, a sense of humor is an important key to solving problems and bringing happiness to life.
