答案
Which Mode of Travel Do You Like? With the general’ standard of living improving and the working week becoming shorter, more and more people are able to make a holiday trip to places of interest. As to the mode of travel, some people prefer package tours, while others like to travel on their own. We can see from the table that compared with traveling alone, package tours can save a lot of money and bring much convenience. For example, the expense of tour is usually lower due to a considerable discount. Board and lodging is also prepared. Besides, with help of guides, tourists can learn about the places they visit in a better way. But traveling one’s own also has its attraction. It gives tourists a great sense of independence and freedom. They can adjust their plans according to their interest and their health condition. Time is sufficient and they can really be relaxed. However, both modes of travel have their weaknesses. In a package tour you’re deprived of as much freedom as in military base, while if traveling individually, you may encounter a lot of inconvenience. As for me, I prefer to travel on my own. I think nothing can be compared with the freedom which is vital to a person who takes a holiday trip to escape from constraints of his routine life.
