What is the main goal of the organization?

Welcome, everyone, to this week’s meeting of the Chester City Environmental Action Committee. Our group was formed last summer to promote community awareness of issues concerning the environment and recycling. In this meeting, we will hear progress reports on a few of our environmental projects, including our ongoing efforts at tree and flower planting.
We will also be brought up-to-date on naturalist Dr. Ralph Hudson’s clean-up project at Overbrook Park. Dr. Hudson still needs 10 to 20 more volunteers to help clean hiking trails and remove weeds. If you are interested in these activities, you may sign your name on a list I’ll pass out after the meeting.
