问题  You will now listen to part of a lecture. You will then be asked a question about it. After you hear the question, you will have 20 seconds to prepare your response and 60 seconds to speak.
Question: Using points and examples from the talk, explain how the social cooperation of animals such as deer and honey bees can feed themselves efficiently by working together.
Now we are going to talk something about the social cooperation of animals. Cooperation refers to the process of working or acting together. Meanwhile, it indicates that things are done in harmony, side by side. That is to say, cooperation can make power. There are many animals all over the world living together with others of the same kind to survive. In today’s lecture, I am going to talk about two groups of animals, the deer and the honey bees. They cooperate within each of their groups to efficiently feed themselves.
Firstly, animals live together usually to prevent themselves from the attacks of the predators. Through this, they can feed more efficiently and effectively. For example, deer take turns to watch out for predators while others can eat safely. And if one deer is with himself only, he has to watch out for the predator while he is eating.
In addition, social cooperation of animals can allow them to find food more easily. The honey bee is a flying social insect. They live in groups and feed themselves with honey. They have a small body and always find food together. When they find the source of food, they will dance to show the others where the source is. In this way, they can find out food sources and spread out the information to others more efficiently. If a bee does everything by itself, it may die long before it eats something.

答案The lecture describes two examples of cooperation between animals of the same species, specifically during feeding. Deer, for example, when out in the field, take turns to watch for predators while others in the herd eat. If it does spot a predator, it will sound an alarm and the herd can escape from danger. Deer need to cooperate: otherwise they will stand no chance when a predator attacks them. Another example of animal cooperation while feeding is the honeybee. They roam the surrounding area, searching for food together and then direct other bees to the food by doing a "dance" . It would not be possible for the bee colony to sustain itself if the individual bees did not co-operate to harvest food.
