答案 The Significance of Industry One has to be industrious to fulfill his dreams and achieve success. As the saying goes, "If you have talents, industry will improve them; if you have but moderate abilities, industry will supply their deficiency." As far as I am concerned, the saying is true in two aspects. For one thing, due to industry, many talented people turn out to be great people. The story of Si Maqian is a good case in point. In order to write his great work The Historical Records, Si Maqian had traveled all the places around the Yellow River and the Yangtze River to collect materials. For another, for people with moderate abilities, industry can supply people’s deficiency. For example, Isaac Newton was often laughed at by other pupils at primary school because of his bad performance in study, but he turned out to be a great physicist through his persistent hard work. From what have been discussed above, we have good reasons to believe in the saying. If we want to achieve more, we are supposed to be more industrious and expend more efforts.
