答案 The bar chart displays the trend of students in this city who study abroad at different periods across their school years. As is seen from the chart, there are 1. 5% of primary students choosing to study abroad. And the proportion of the elder schoolers increases gradually, with a mild growing to 2. 3% in the middle schools and a dramatic surge to 20. 4% in the graduate schools. There are mainly two reasons accounting for this trend. First and foremost, with the rapid development of economy, an increasing number of families could afford, to some extent, the once-deemed-expensive overseas education, which helps to obtain independent living experiences as well as a wider vision. More than that, the grown overseas students still outnumber the younger peers, for the former shows an advantage in adapting to the new environment. This may be why the college students and above are more eager to go abroad. In my view, studying abroad is a nice choice. Nevertheless, it may not be the only academic approach to enhancing oneself. And students should make a balance, with care, between budgets and benefits.
