Apparently, the couple are the baby’ s parents whose freedom is restricted by the child. We may draw a conclusion that parents have become slaves to their children to a certain degree. Such an image draws attention to the fact that the cost of raising a child is becoming increasingly high in modern society. But economic pressure is not the only reason that makes young parents "child’s slave". Parents’ competing with each other in trying to provide the best possible living conditions for their children should also be blamed.
