What did they decide to do last night?

Last night my sisters and I decided to go to a movie. My eldest sister stayed home because she didn’t feel well. The theatre was downtown, so we asked my friend John for a fide. It was a very cold night. Because of the cold, John’s car stopped a couple of times on the way. John walked to a garage to get help. We walked to the theatre. We wanted to see the movie THE LITTLE WOMAN, but the movie was not being shown last night. We were disappointed, and we had to walk home. John walked home too. His ear would not start.
