答案 How to Prevent Traffic Jams Nowadays, traffic jam has become one of the most serious problems in most cities, particularly in large cities. During rush hours, the streets and roads are crammed with hundreds of cars, buses, trucks, bicycles and so forth. Almost every day there are lots of people who are late for school or work because of traffic jams. Hence, it is absolutely necessary that we should do something to prevent traffic jams. In the first place, cars should run on the line for cars while bicycles should go on the line for bicycles so that they may not be mixed together. Secondly, we ought to obey traffic regulations voluntarily, and we must follow the command of the traffic policemen strictly. What’s more, more highways and broad roads should be built to relieve the ever-increasing traffic pressure in cities. Apart from all the measures mentioned above, it is important for everyone to observe the traffic regulations. In this way, we can work out a proper schedule that suits ourselves in order to avoid rush hours and traffic jams.
