选项
答案
Private Cars or Public Transportation? Many people appreciate the convenience of private cars. A private car gives more comfort and mobility and enables people to go whenever and wherever they like. They can enjoy their leisure to the full by making trips to the country or seaside at weekends, without the irritation caused by waiting for buses or trains. Public transportation tools are also attractive to many of us. With someone else driving for us, we can feel relaxed on a bus or subway. Besides, it costs us less money and brings jobs for others. More importantly, public transportation is environmentally friendly as it helps to lessen traffic jams and air pollution. As far as I’m concerned, both public transportation tools and private cars, however, have their own disadvantages. The bus system does not provide frequent stops and the location of the bus stops is sometimes not so convenient. A private car has many problems too, such as too much harmful carbon monoxide emitted. It often gives the traffic in and around the city much trouble. However, I hate the air pollution and traffic jams caused by private cars. So, given the chance, I would prefer public transportation.
