答案 On the Risks of Recent College Graduates’ Self-employment This pie chart provides some interesting data regarding risks of recent college graduates’ self-employment. As listed in this chart, the most serious risk is lack of fund, which ranks as high as 31%. Difficulty on marketing and lack of experience on business management rank secondly and thirdly, accounts for 25% and 20% separately. Low technology and lack of project appraisal exert little influence account for 8% and 5% separately. Of course, some other risks account for 12%. There are three factors leading to these risks. First, college students’ often lack of necessary operational experience and business knowledge. They can’t see the market and competitors situation, and don’t know their entrepreneurial project would create what kind of value to this market, and they even can’t maintain enterprise after the establishment of normal operation. These all cause the failure of the self-employment. Second, most students are blind. Campus is usually called ivory tower, in which students are unaware of the potential of investment risk. This increases the difficulty of marketing. Finally, newly graduated students probably have not accumulated enough start-up capital. In summary, recent college graduates may take many risks of self-employment, therefore, although graduates should be encouraged to be self-employed, they should also be cautious of the risks before the act.
