A lot of food is left after each meal; brand-new clothes are thrown away; electric appliances are not turned off when there are no people in the dormitories. The habit of waste can cause a lot of problems. Though China is developing very fast, there are still a large number of people living under poverty. Furthermore, China has such a large population to support with such limited store of energy; waste may cause a disaster for the whole country. It can also have effect on the psychology of university students. They are not used to taking effort to cam their living, and they will keep this had habit during their whole life. How can our nation develop if every one of us keeps wasting? To form a good habit of economy is very important for everyone, especially for university students. We should try our best to protect the energy and resources of our country and our world. Please don’t leave food in your plate after finishing your meals; please don’t throw your clothes away when they are brand-new; please turn off the electric lamps whenever you leave the dormitory.
