答案 Leo Tolstoy, a Russian writer, once declared that "Ideal is the beacon. Without ideal, there is no secure direction; without direction, there is no life. " However, sometimes, this beacon may lead us to a direction contrary to reality , just as it is shown in the picture: a man feels at a loss when he is confronted with two opposite directions that ideal and reality hold. We should be fully aware that an enormous chasm exists between the ideal and the reality. How to fill it? For one thing, there is no denying that we should never abandon the ideal. Although the process of struggling for the ideal is painful and exhausting, it is worthwhile to enhance our skills and perfect ourselves in the process. Then the dawn of victory may keep us moving forward. Keep Shakespeare’s words in mind: Do not, for one repulse, give up the purpose that you want to achieve, since the road to your ideal is brimming with thorns and troubles. For another, the ideal is not a daydream and can be achieved by our own endeavors. The ideal’s detaching from the real life is the biggest factor that the ideal cannot be achieved. Hence, people should have rational understanding of their abilities, establishing reasonable life goals; simultaneously, people should dedicate their blood, toil and sweat to their ideal, transforming their ideals into reality.
