答案 The Impact of the Computer on Writing Ability As we all know, the computer, to a large extent, has changed our daily life. However, it causes some negative effects because of excessive use of it. Nowadays, it is obvious that people’s writing ability has deteriorated with the popularity of computer. What contributes to this phenomenon? People have depended so much on the computer that they can hardly do things well without it, which result in the degeneration of writing ability. On one hand, in this digital age, an increasing number of people send their emails by computer instead of using pen to write letters. On the other hand, some people would spend much more time surfing the internet and playing computer games rather than write something with a pen. In this sense, the computer has made us go backward. Alarmed by the issue, we should do something to prevent ourselves from the side effects of computer. As far as I am concerned, we should limit the time we spend on computer and try to develop as many good habits as possible in spare time.
