答案 The chart shows Chinese urban residents’ investment on fixed assets in the past five years. The total investment increased steadily and quickly from 2002 to 2006. After 2003, each year saw an increase of 100 billions or more than the previous year. The present investment shows as high as more than 500 billion on the fixed assets. And we have every reason to believe that the increase will go on in the following several years. With the change of the country’s policy on housing and the increase of urban residents’ income, more and more people can afford to buy their own houses. Some people even buy two or more houses because they regard buying houses as a way of profitable investment. Nowadays people tend to invest their money on fixed assets, stocks, etc. instead of depositing all their money in the banks as before.
