Which of the following details about the survey is INCORRECT?
Researchers survey about 2,000 adults to find out some changes modern technology has brought to their family life. (18) Paul Allen, an editor of a computer magazine which conducts the poll with the Royal Society For The Protection Of Animals, says that personal computers have overtaken families’ dogs as human’s best friends. Researchers find that only 6 percent of those polled think people rely more on their dogs than their personal computers, while 67 percent believe the opposite to be true. Paul Allen adds that:"(19)you can even take your personal computer for a walk provided that you have a laptop or tablet. " (19) With global news on-line and newspaper sales falling, family dogs have even missed out on the pleasure of taking paper to their owners. (19) It’s only a matter of time that the first personal computer will fetch slippers for families. (20) The poll shows that male dog owners are almost twice as many as female owners to rely on their computers than a canine companion. (19) Besides, families’ computers give dog owners access to a wealth of information resource that can help with a long-term care that dogs need. So it’s not all bad news for obedient dogs.
