答案
Not to Be Snobbish As is vividly depicted in the picture, a man is talking to another man who seems not to recognize him in a class reunion. The man looks humble and laughs at himself that he was voted Most Lake To Be Forgotten person. The picture reveals a phenomenon that snobbery is prevailing in our society even among classmates. Three factors contribute to the snobbery in our society. To begin with, we live in a highly competitive society in which nearly everyone wants to achieve success. Then it’s natural for some people to judge you by your job, social status, material goods which are symbols of success. Moreover, in our society losers are crucially despised. We are implied that if we’ve got talents, energy and skill, we will get to the top. And we believe people who stay at the bottom of the society seem not accidental, but merited and deserved. And that makes failure seem much more crushing. In all, as a saying goes, it’s a sin to judge a man by his post and social status.
