The Han nationality has made its home mainly in the Yellow River basin, which is the cradle of the Chinese civilization. Now people of the Han nationality are found in all parts of the country, but mainly in the Yellow River, Yangtze River and Pearl River basins and the Songliao Plain of the Northeast.
