A known producer of high performance protective equipment, Heyworth Industries ensures the safety of workers in the chemical, healthcare, and automotive industries, as well as other sectors that involve the handling of hazardous materials. Founded 30 years ago in Syracuse, New York, it began by designing and manufacturing a broad array of protective garments such as fireproof clothing, chemical resistant clothing, and limited-use and disposable clothing. To meet rising client demand, Heyworth Industries established its first overseas headquarters in Toronto, Canada. Two years after that, it opened a factory in

Last year, another facility began operations in Shanghai, China, which helped in the manufacturing process while at the same time lowering costs. Heyworth Industries also boosted its logistics system by building a warehouse in Birmingham, Alabama. Finally, a shipping and distribution center was opened in Chicago, Illinois, to handle the shipment of products to various locations in the United States.
