How many people were on board when the tour bus crashed?
US folk star Emilio Navaira may not survive the brain injuries he suffered when his tour bus crashed in Texas this weekend. Navaira’s agent has said the Tejano singer, 45 years old, was driving the bus, [9]which crashed into barriers with six others on board. One remains in hospital.
The bus crashed in Bellaire, west of Houston, when Navaira and his band were travelling back to their homes in San Antonio after playing at a nightclub in southeast Houston. [10]A Bellaire police spokesman said their initial inquiries showed that Navaira was not licensed to drive the bus. They are also trying to find out whether Navaira had been drinking before the accident, which took place at about 5:00am local time on Sunday. [9]Five of Navalra’s six passengers were band members. His agent Joe Casias said bass player Rick Vega was still in hospital suffering from abdominal injuries. The remaining passengers had all now left hospital after being treated for cuts and bruises.
选项
A、Five.
B、Six.
C、Seven.
D、Forty-five.
答案
C
解析
新闻开头提到,Navaira的经纪人说,Navira驾车发生车祸时车上还有另外6人:后面又提到,Navaira车上的6名乘客中有5名是乐队成员。可见,把司机和乘客都算在内,事故发生时车上共有7人。
