答案
On Mind Aging It is both encouraging and disheartening to hear that people tend to get mind aging in modern society. What is encouraging is that people are getting more concerned about their life and this is supposed to be a boon to the society. However, what is disheartening is that mind aging now seems so pervasive that it makes precautions necessary. Considering its severity in the modern society, it is necessary to figure out the hidden reasons to avoid worse result. Firstly, pressure cannot unload the responsibility for reducing people to the mind aging, especially for those who have a big family to support. Nowadays, we are all situated in an adverse circumstance with the global economic situation causing much unrest, which has laid great pressure on most of us and which will only deteriorate with the approach of the potential threat and tension. In addition, our society has been developing at an unprecedented pace, with the explosion of information growing too fast for us to grasp. Therefore, more often than not, we will be remarkably alert and when such a "readiness posture"reaches to a certain extent;both our body and mind will respond sensitively to any change, and then comes the mind aging. Another reason for the mind aging might be that people tend to be marginalized when they get to a certain age, which consequently leads to the aging state of mind. For example, it has been commonly witnessed that people are inclined to be regarded as lack of competitiveness if they do not get promoted to the leadership position when they come to 40 years old, and they will be substituted by the younger generation who has just stepped into the society. In such a process, those people have been marginalized as old people since they are no longer in the dominant position. As a matter of fact, those people are just in the prime of their life and it is such custom that has deprived those people’s opportunity and enthusiasm of committing wholeheartedly to the society. To sum up,the state of mind aging is detrimental, which will not only exert negative influence on our work and life, but also cause the depressed atmosphere in the whole society. Although there are many factors contributing to such malignant disease, the pressure of modern life and the marginalization of those people should both take the blame first.
