答案
Currently, some schools have opened or are planning to open their sports facilities to the public. But, is it acceptable and necessary for schools to do so? Opinions vary from one person to another. Some people hold that it is necessary and wise for schools to do so, as it brings extra revenue to schools. In addition, citizens living adjacent to schools can gain access to standardized sports facilities to refresh or entertain themselves. Others think it’s the other way round. To begin with, chances are that schools will have to spend an enormous sum repairing or updating those facilities which may be easily damaged with excessive use every year. Next, students may be greatly affected, either in terms of their study or of access to the sports facilities. Furthermore, schools are very likely to be confronted with some potential dangers, including stealing, designedly destruction of property and the like. As a student, I am in favor of the latter viewpoint, strongly opposing to the idea of opening school sports facilities to the public.
