答案 Keep Our Language Pure Language is an important means to bind a nation together. So it is all the more disturbing when we see the reckless use of foreign names by Chinese producers when their products are made in China. We find foreign names of products almost everywhere. This unusual phenomenon sets me thinking. What will be the result if we let things go on like this? Undoubtedly, it will abase our dignity and damage national cohesiveness, imperiling the overall quality of the nation. On the surface, these producers might think that using these queer and "fashionable" names would help their goods develop a foreign flavor and become popular. Or they are trying to keep up with the trend toward internationalization, hoping their products will find a larger market around the world. But a poor-quality product will not necessarily thrive if it simply has a foreign name. Moreover the names they fabricate are often meaning less, which confuses both Chinese people and foreigners,’ As a matter of fact, Chinese is a very expressive language, rich in vocabulary and wide in connotation and it can express complex ideas and subtle shades of meanings. In most eases, it is unnecessary to adopt foreign words. Therefore we must be alert and guard against this dangerous trend. We must stick to the principle of "making the past serve the present and making foreign things serve China. Meanwhile some serious and concrete measures should be taken concerning the present situation. Only by doing so can we dispose of this language rubbish in our society.
