答案 As is vividly depicted in the picture, a book is lying on grass and beautiful flowers. In company with some sunflowers which are surrounded by lovely butterflies, there is a Chinese character which says: "Reading". Nowadays few of us read books after we left school. This tendency is rather disturbing, for one should know that what reading is to one’s mental life is like fresh air is to one’s physical life. Reading is a fulfilling, mind-enhancing and life-enriching journey. Great books open a completely new and colorful world in front of us. In reading books, we are exposed to new cultures and customs of peoples in far corners of the world: resonance can be found between souls, and the innermost voices of our heart are expressed to a full degree. In reading books, more positive values, world views, and philosophy of life can be molded. Few of us can travel far from home or live long over one hundred, but all of us can live many lives through the pages of books. Reading can improve our intellectual ability, broaden our horizons and make us wise. Although with the advent of TV, mobile phones and the Internet, books are no longer read as extensively as they once were, nothing can replace the role that reading plays in our lives.
