答案 As is shown in the table, some dramatic changes have taken place with regard to the percentage of DINK families in the past several years. According to the data given in the table, we can see that the percentage of DINK families was on a steady rise all the time. In the year of 1990, it was only about 0.5% ,while within no more than 15 years,it went up to nearly 2% in 2005. Some driving factors that contribute to the above - mentioned changes may be summarized as follows. First of all, with the rapid development of Chinese economy and society, people are faced with more competition and stress. They have to pay more attention to their jobs. What’ s more, many young couples do not like kids,because they consider it troublesome to nurture a kid. Furthermore, raising a kid means a lot of money and the cost is becoming higher and higher. As a result, more and more families can’t afford to raise a kid. Taking all these factors into consideration, we may reasonably predict that with the rapid and further development of our society, the number of DINK families will keep increasing in the near future.
