I volunteered as an interpreter for the 2022 Winter Olympic Games in Beijing. This was an opportunity to fulfill my lifelong dream. I saw people from all over the world with different backgrounds, ages and colors. We worked together to make the Games a success. The sense of unity shared by volunteers was truly amazing. I’ve never imagined being so close to the competitions, and to athletes. We were together for a shared future! The joy of working with these people is a reward enough for me. I would encourage anyone interested to try. You will have a great experience.
