Should College Students Use Credit Cards?
选项
答案
Should College Students Use Credit Cards? Nowadays, many commercial banks encourage students to apply for credit cards by providing attractive benefits. It is reported that 80% of Chinese college students have owned at least one credit card. For most of the students who have no source of income, owning a credit card makes them financially free from the control of their parents. They start by using these cards to live above their means with unnecessary purchases and expensive items which they can not afford before they get the credit card. For them, premature consumption with credit cards represents a fashionable lifestyle. But some teachers and parents worry that premature consumption may easily cause over consumption and get students involved in "debt crisis". In order to pay the debts off and avoid bad credit, some of them ask for money from their parents by making up excuses and some have to do part-time jobs which might affect their study. As far as I’m concerned, credit cards can bring much convenience to us. However, we should make wise use of credit cards to make them serve us better.
