答案 In the picture above, a man is struggling due to the sinking ships. As a matter of fact, one of the hottest memes in China in 2016 is "The friend ’ship’ sinks without any delay." The popularity of this catchphrase comes out of a series of comics by Nan Dongni on Sina Weibo released on April 12, 2016. Inevitably, friendship like any other relationship in life will get tested, even to the verge of sinking. For many of us, lack of understanding and what we say make it harder for us to keep our friend "ship" sailing smoothly. Sometimes we don’t have enough patience to listen to people around us. We are not willing to understand people around us. Sometimes we don’t give them the time they need; it causes them to withdraw and get back into their shells and not want to talk again. Besides, when it comes to friendship, sometimes it’s not what you do but what you say that sinks the ship. For example, friendship might be challenged when we discuss an upcoming test. One of us might say "I didn’t work on it and might blow it," but another might be modest and says the same but not mean it. When the results come out, and the latter gets 90 out of 100 while the former barely gets 60, that’s when our "ship" definitely sinks. Some of us value honesty, trustworthiness, and a sense of humor most in a friend, while others among us desire compassion and loyalty most. But, all of us share the same view on one key element—friendship is a necessary part of our life. So, let’s learn how to keep our friendship moving ahead through patience, mutual help, understanding and integrity.
