答案
If you choose topic A: What is important when relocating a business? There are lots of things that matter when relocating a business, with four points to be the most critical as follows: First, mighty technology support and cheap workforce are the two crucial elements leading modern enterprises to success. So when relocating a business, the managers in the business have to consider the capability and the cost of the local workforce. On one hand, the hi-tech products require a strong research and development team. Thus whether the local workforce is capable of producing such a strong R&D team is of great importance to the company. On the other hand, cheap local force will certainly reduce the production costs, which will help a business to survive in the fierce competition. Second, the location of business should be also taken into account, which involves several issues such as its raw materials supply and transportation, access to the electricity, water, gas and other supporting energy supplies, its working environment, and tax liabilities, etc. All the things mentioned above will influence the normal running of the company in the new premise. And then it comes to the rent factor. Whether the rent is reasonable and affordable or not is the factor that can’t be ignored. With other things being equal, the cheaper, the better. Finally, the length of the contract also plays a part, for longer contract would cover issues in more details. The contract should cover certain content that is likely to affect assignment, service charges, and rent review clause, etc. If you choose topic B: What is important when aiming to reach a new market? It is universally acknowledged that aiming to reach a new market is no easy task, which needs lots of planning and consideration. In my opinion, there are three things that matter most in the process, namely, market research, advertising and sales promotion. The first thing is market research. Market research is always the first step before the company gets into a market. Since the fundamental goal of marketing is to satisfy consumers’ needs, no organisation can survive for long without meeting consumers’ needs. Thus, any organisation, if it is to be successful, must learn about the consumers’ needs by market research conducted in various ways and adjust its programs to deliver an offering meeting consumers’ needs. Then, advertising is the most useful way to propagandise the company’s products and make them known to the public. It is also the way to get the products orientated, which is to find out whether the products are for female or male market, high-earning people or low-earning people, etc. Moreover, it is also necessary to launch some sales promotion campaign, such as offering discount for a short period of time, for example, "buying one and getting one more free" , in order to stimulate sales and let the consumers have a good try. If they feel good about the product, they will probably choose it next time. If you choose topic C: What is important when exhibiting at a trade fair ? When exhibiting at a trade fair, I think there are three points to consider, namely, quality of display, selection of staff and decoration of the booth. First, the trade fair will have massive influence on the public and market. And most of visitors to the trade fair are potential buyers or at least would like to take interests in the companies and the products on the trade fair. Therefore, the high quality of display in the trade fair would be the best opportunity for an ambitious company to promote its newest products and built up its good image. Second, we must take the selection of staff into consideration. Since the trade fair provides the manufacturers with the formal stages to display their products, the staff selected will not only represent the public image of the company, but also take the responsibility of explaining and publicizing the products. The staff who are qualified for the exhibition must be smooth talkers with good presentation and possess considerable knowledge on the company as well as its products. Last but not least, decoration of booth should not be ignored. Before the trade fair takes place, usually there are a lot of propagandas about it, and the organiser always tries to attract as many customers as possible to attend the trade fair by preparing publicity materials, samples and some keepsake with company’s logo. So the staff have to decorate the booth with all the materials and put them in order beforehand.
