Reject Blind Faith Do you still remember that Japan’s nuclear crisis was followed by a salt buying panic in China? It seems ridiculous now but it definitely reflects the fact that when some people give their opinions, many follow. However, its absurdity also gives a warning that blind faith in anything will get you killed. Many remarkable reasons support that blind faith is no recommendation. First of all, with blind faith, we can never find what we really need and what fits us most. Furthermore, blind faith will foster indecisive personality which will increase the possibility for us to miss the opportunities coming to us. Also, blind faith kills our capacity for innovation. Thus, there is no denying that due attention should be attached to the cultivation of independent thought. Considering the above analysis, we should adopt immediate measures to dismiss the habit of blind faith. For one hand, it is necessary to figure out what we really need. For another, it’s demanding for us to seek more chances to practice how to make independent choice. Only in this way can we choose what we really need.
