答案
IS FAILURE A BAD THING? Although people succeed in doing many things, failures are of frequent occurrence. Students may fail in their examinations. Scientists may fail in their researches. Businessmen may fail in their investment. When we make an experiment, it can fail of success. Maybe we will have many failures before finding the right solution to the problem in it. So you see, failures are of constant occurrence. There are different attitudes towards failure. For example, some people take up a calm attitude towards failure. They analyze reasons. They can draw a lesson from their failure. On the other hand, some are keen on face-saving and become disappointed at their failure. They dread failure. In fact, they are afraid of difficulties. Others maintain an attitude of indifference towards failure. My attitude towards failure is that I must try my best to prevent failure from taking place first, and whenever I fail, I should confess failure and regard each failure a stepping stone to success. Only by knowing the reason why I failed and I can get to know how to deal with the problems and make a success without making the same mistakes at last. Therefore I conclude that failure is not a bad thing, because failure teaches success and failure is the mother of success.
