W:  Alex!  What are you up to?
M:  I’m painting. You know that’s what I enjoy most. How about you,  Sophie?
W:  I’m on the Net. And where’s your brother?
M:   Mike? He’s cycling with his friends. They won’t be home till much later.
W: What a pity! I’m just calling because Lily promised to show him her book collection today. Anyway, since your brother is not there she’s probably going to spend her day on the phone with my aunt Vicky.
M:   So,  even if I tell my brother to call Lily when he comes home,  your phone line will be busy.
W:  Probably!  Let’s just leave it for next weekend.
M:   OK.
