M: I’ve been standing outside in freezing temperature for over an hour, waiting for the bus.
W: Over an hour? But isn’t your apartment only a ten-minute bus ride to our school?
M: Yes. But the bus this morning was delayed because of the weather. And when I stepped into a drug-store to call home for a ride, the bus went by. And there was no one at home! So I had to wait another 40 minutes for the next bus to come.
