答案 As is depicted in the caricature entitled "For the conservation of wildlife", a hunch of people are making a noisy appeal to the public for the protection of wildlife. They are crying loudly their determination to participate in the movement. In an odd way, they are all wearing coats made from the furs or skins of wild species. The scene just presents a rather thought-provoking hypocrisy. The drawer of the picture probably desires that people should realize some of their acts which literally run counter to their remarks on the protection of our fellow creatures—wild animals in the nature. Some people appear to he rather active in the drive for preserving the conditions of our environment and conserving the web of the globe’s rich biological diversity. What they are addressing is sheer nonsense. Undoubtedly, human survival does depend in a large measure on the harmonious co-existence of man and his fellow creatures. Sad to say, those people’s behavior just betrays their words. It seems that nature conservation is in effect nothing more than a mere propaganda in today’s world. Given the present situation, it is high time that the importance of nature conservation would be directed to the public not by means of preaching but by way of actions. Unless such an epidemic is checked, we will run into great chaos in store for us.
