enough, it begins to evolve into a more complex language with a
more complex structure and rich vocabulary. Once the pidgin has  【4】______
evolved and has acquired native speakers (the children learn from【5】______
the pidgin as their first language), it is then called a Creole. An
example of this is the Creole from Papua New Guinea, Tok
Pisin, which has become a national language.
   Reasons for the development of Pidgins
   In the nineteenth century, when slaves from Africa were
brought over North America to work on the plantations, they      【6】______
were separated from the people of their community and mixed
with people of various other communities, therefore they were
able to communicate with each other. So they couldn’t come up    【7】______
with a plot to escape back their land. Therefore, in order to    【8】______
finally communicate with their peers on the plantations, and with
their bosses, they needed to form a language which they could    【9】______
communicate. Pidgins also arose because of colonization.
Prominence languages such as French., Spanish, Portuguese,       【10】______
English, and Dutch were the languages of the colonizers. The
people of the colonies tried to communicate with the colonizers
using a mixed language.
