From my perspective, there are some incomparable advantages contributing to online shopping’s dominant status. To customers, they give their priority to convenience and cheap price. And online shopping can perfectly meet the two requirements. Moreover, without any rent, the online shop can provide you with more discounts. It is the preferential price that attracts many people sometimes. Last but not least, the shops also have their ways to offer a good return service. All these make sure customers’ purchase experiences safely and happily. Despite that online shopping indeed brings a lot of pleasure and convenience to its customers, its drawbacks can never be ignored. Firstly, people can easily be addicted to it. Since all the items were paid through credit card or online bank, people are unaware of the amount of money they have paid for their items and shopping without limitation. At the same time, customers may live with fear of being a victim of identity theft. Lastly, the social contact among people can be greatly reduced. As time goes by, the problem of people’s isolation and alienation can be salient. In a word, we can make a good use of the advantages of online shopping and be on the alert to evade its risks.
