答案
As a new concept in modern society, euthanasia has become a controversial topic for the public. People hold different opinions on it. Some people take the position that the practice of euthanasia is beneficial to the patients suffering from persistent and unbearable pain. They believe that euthanasia is a release for the hopeless patients, because they needn’t to suffer from the torment of illness day and night. Other people have different opinions. They think it is inhuman to perform mercy killing for a patient, no matter how painless for them. Patients definitely have the right to live even if they are badly ill and can’t be cured. What is more, some criminals will take the advantage of it for some ulterior or even criminal purposes. Therefore, the practice of euthanasia will bring social disorder. From my point of view, much effort still needs to be done before the practice of euthanasia. Legal system should be established to deal with euthanasia and moral standard needs to be improved before the practice. In a word, the practice of euthanasia is still a long way to go.
