First of all, levying the pollution tax can reduce the number of private cars greatly. Accordingly, the carbon emissions will be reduced owing to the decreased number of private cars. Moreover, the heavy traffic pressure on the city will be relieved effectively as a result of the reduction of private cars. Thus, our living environment will be greatly improved.
