答案 From the table above, it can be seen that more than half students think parents are too strict, and more boys than girls have difficulties in communicating with parents. Besides, Over 80% of students won’t tell parents their secrets. Several reasons account for the phenomenon. The first one is that students cannot correctly treat parents’ strict requirements, which leaves misunderstanding among them. Besides, the two generations, having grown up at different times, have different likes and dislikes, thus the disagreement often arises between them. Last but not least, children become independent and seek for more private space after they grow up, so they are not willing to sit down face to face to communicate with their parents. Some measures should be taken to solve that problem. For one thing, children should respect their parents’ concept of education. For another, parents should care children’s inner world and praise them more often. Only in this way can the generation gap be narrowed.
