F Well, I’ve been working as a bank cashier for six years.
M And what else have you done?
F I trained as a secretary and later went to work for Morleys. I stayed there for two years before moving to this job. Oh, and after college, I worked as a sales assistant for a while.

M Have you heard who’s giving the opening speech at the AGM?
F It’s normally Susan Shepherd, the Finance Director.
M Not this year. I I heard that Sam Brightman from HR was asked.
F But he’s only just joined the board. I thought it might be Roger Keene.
M The Sales Director? But all the latest developments are related to personnel. That’s why it’s so logical for Sam to do it.
