答案 Children love to go to the zoo because they love animals. Without the zoo, there might be a lot of animals we ordinary people could never see, not to say whales and dolphins in the sea or tigers and lions in the jungles. People both young and old can learn a lot about their habit, natural behavior patterns and living habit by observing animals kept in the zoo. Tile zoo is a safe place for all the animals. But does it ever occur to you that there might be some disadvantages of keeping animals in the zoo? When in captivity, the animals’ natural habit is altered. They are separated from their family. That is a stress. Many animals are highly intelligent. When kept in a cage, they feel very unhappy. I have heard stories about dolphins committing suicide in a tank. Their behavior patterns might change when living in a confined place. Therefore, the study results might be anti-educational since what we learn about them might not be true. Although some people believe that zoos are the best place for the endangered animals, but I don’t agree. Animals belong to nature. The tiny cage is far from a comfortable home, but rather a terrible place like a prison. We should set up protected areas in the wild or in the sea for them. They should be allowed to live with their families in the nature.
