To mark this occasion, we have decided to invite all employees to a special dinner at the Rosemary Hotel, located on Twitcher Street. The event will begin with famous comedian Peter Turquoise treating us to his standup routine. Following the serving of food, various board members will be invited to the front to say a few words in tribute to Hank. The night will then conclude with dancing to the tunes of jazz band, The Angry Hearts, hired especially for the occasion. I’m sure you’d all like to join me in thanking Hank for his 23 years of service and for helping to turn Magnifico into the award-winning design company that it is today. I have attached a copy of the menu options for the dinner. Please indicate your choice to my secretary by November 27 at the latest.

As you requested, I contacted Joanne Watson to let her know my meal choice for the Hank Grimes Retirement dinner. Being somebody who doesn’t eat meat, I was very pleased to see a meal suitable for my dietary needs on the menu. I have a question about the day itself. I wonder what time guests are advised to arrive at the venue. As you know, I’ll be traveling back from my business trip in Chicago on that day, and my flight is scheduled to arrive at 7. 30 P. M. If I take a taxi from the airport, do you think I will be able to make it to the hotel in time for the first event? I am looking forward to paying tribute to Mr. Grimes.
