He, standing on the top of a ladder which leans against a chimney with flame jumping, is puzzled why he climbs to such a terrible and dangerous place painstakingly. The caption below the picture reads: reaching the top of a ladder with great efforts only to find the ladder laid on a wrong wall. The picture vividly reminds us of the relation between correct orientation and success. Properly orientating before action is so significant that it almost determines whether success can be achieved or not at the beginning. The lesson of wrong direction leading to failure could be drawn from a story in ancient China, which is about a man hoping to reach a place in the southern direction by riding his fast horse towards the north. However, no matter bow excellent his horsemanship was, be could never arrive at his destination, because the faster he drove his horse, the farther he strayed from his original goal. Thus, we should always keep our eyes open to examine whether our direction is right or wrong while struggling bard and perseveringly for our targets. Only endeavors guided by right direction can assure us of fruitful harvest.
